Overview
Built for school use
A school uniform has a harder life than most industrial workwear. It is worn five days a week for roughly two hundred days, washed constantly, and belongs to someone who is not trying to look after it. It also has to still look correct in March, not just in June.
That drives three decisions. Colour-fast dyeing, so navy does not turn grey by the second term. Reinforced seams and generous hems at knee, elbow and seat. And growth allowance built into the pattern — deep hems that can be let down, and adjustable waistbands on trousers and skirts.
Sizing consistency across the full school matters more than almost anything else. A parent who buys a size 30 shirt in year three expects a size 30 to fit the same way in year four. We grade the whole run against one set of measurements and hold that spec across reorders.
Crests are the identity of the set. We embroider directly onto the garment or produce a woven badge for application, matched to your artwork and reproduced identically across every size in the range.

Navy stays navy — the set still matches at the end of the year.

Care guidance
- Wash at 40°C; separate new navy items for the first two washes
- Do not bleach — it will patch the dye permanently
- Warm iron; avoid ironing directly over an embroidered crest
- Reattach name tapes after any hem alteration
School FAQ
Questions about this range
Yes. Send the artwork in any vector format, or a clear photograph of an existing badge if that is all you have. We digitise it for embroidery and send a stitch-out sample for approval before bulk production.
As early as possible. Crest digitising, sampling and approval all happen before bulk cutting, and the pre-session period is the busiest in the year. Talk to us well before you need delivery so the schedule is comfortable.
That depends on the arrangement we set up with the school. Tell us at the outset whether you want a bulk supply to the school or an ongoing individual-purchase route, and we will structure the order accordingly.
